As you are all undoubtedly aware, The Philippines were hit by one of the worst storms in history - and that's where Minnie lives. I know she hasn't been as active on here as she used to be, but she does drop in from time to time.

Minnie is one of the nicest people on here, and I just wanted to put this thread on the site to show that we're all thinking of her and hoping she's okay.

Due to the storm, they may not have internet connection, so it may be a while before we hear, so let's all hope and pray that she's safe and well.

I sent her a PM right after the earthquake happened and I received a quick reply from her saying she was safe so I sent another PM, but haven't heard anything back to that one. And I agree that she is very sweet!

Hello my dear forum friends, me and my family are doing well and have been spared from typhoon Haiyan. It is just right after the typhoon, we have been following up the condition of our relatives who live a couple of islands away from Leyte and Tacloban, which we had no contact until two days after due to no electricity and all phone lines down. A few of my cousin-laws had to be flown to Manila to escape trauma and hunger since there were no relief goods coming into their town and, if so there was, they were given expired can goods and old rice. It is very heart breaking to listen to their ordeal and unfortunately, their story is just one in a million what people had to go through the after the typhoon.

Thank you to the people who posted in this thread wishing and sending their prayers for me and my family's well being, it really fattens my heart, thank you
